Please read these terms and conditions before ordering your yard display. Above all else you understand the display you order is a rental that we will pick up after your allotted time. You understand that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions:
- PAYMENT. Payment is due at the time of submitting a booking request. Payment does not confirm our availability, we will confirm if we are able to fulfill your request as soon as possible. If we are unable to fulfill the request, we will process a full refund. Payment information is transmitted over secure SSL encryption and is not stored.
- CANCELLATION. In the event that you need to cancel your order over 24 hours before the delivery time, we can:
- Refund half of your payment or
- You can reschedule the booking.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled delivery are not subject to receive a refund.
- RUSH ORDERS. We will attempt to accommodate rush (48 hours prior to setup) and same day orders with the following conditions:
- Bookings will be based on available inventory.
- We may charge a rush fee.
- Orders placed within 24 hours of the requested event day are not guaranteed.
- We will be unable to provide design proof for rush orders.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER. We cannot set up or take down a display in hazardous weather. This includes any lightning or severe weather such as tornados/high winds/extreme rain/cold or any other Act of God that would put us or the lawn display in harm’s way. In the event of prohibitive weather, if we are unable to reschedule the display a refund will be processed.
- REFUND POLICY. There are certain scenarios where we do provide refunds which can be found under the “CANCELLATION” section above. Refunds for any other reason are given at our discretion, some reasons we cannot give refunds for include:
- If the homeowner requests the display to be removed this includes during setup or any time after.
- If errors are included in the order submission. (Typos, etc.)
- If the location is a gated community and we cannot get access to the property.
- If we are given the wrong address.
- There is a dog (or another animal) that prevents us from setting up.
- If the person the display is intended for catches us setting it up
- If the ground is extremely hard, please follow the prep guide located here.
- ORDER CANCELLATION. We reserve the right to decline any orders that do not meet the nature of our business. Some types of signs that we may decline orders for are controversial, lewd, disrespectful, or political signs.
- SIGN DAMAGE. Any damage, destruction, theft or tampering with the signs is prohibited. Signs should not be moved without consent. If any damage or theft occurs you are responsible for the replacement cost of the graphic, letter, or stake at full replacement value. Please do not throw lawn display items in the garbage or vandalize our signs. Even if you do not like the display gift given to you, these items are our property and business. It is best to notify the honoree to not harm the display, as you are responsible for it. Full payment for any signs that are damaged will be enforced. This includes any and all damage as well as theft, some examples are below but damage is not limited to these examples:
- Damage from lawn care – lawn mowers and weed eaters will damage the signs.
- Damage from kids / adults – the signs are decoration and not a toy, climbing, hitting, kicking will damage the signs.
- Sprinkler systems – water shot at the signs may damage the signs.
- Balloons – please don’t attach balloons to the display, they can get hot, and the hot rubber/plastic may damage the sign.
- SPRINKLER SYSTEMS. Our yard signs are installed using metal stakes that are inserted into the ground approximately 8” to 10” deep. If the installation location has a sprinkler system that could be affected by our install, please inform us and provide any information regarding the type and location of the sprinkler lines. We are not responsible for any damage to your system. Please turn off sprinkler systems prior to installation and during the displays time in the yard.
- DELIVERY. The yard sign will be delivered and setup at the agreed upon time. All prices include delivery, set up and take down of the yard greeting.
- SETUP, USAGE, MOVING. Please do not touch, rearrange or move displays! This could cause damage to the signs or bodily harm if not removed from the ground properly. When yard signs are on your premises, treat them with care. No jumping, playing, kicking or punching of the yard card signs. See “SIGN DAMAGE” section regarding liability and damage fees. Damage fees must be paid, no exceptions.
- LIABILITY. Yard Card Squad LLC and all representatives are not responsible for or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up or removal of any rental.
- MARKETING. The advertised, discounted pricing includes us placing a marketing sign and info box in the yard to promote our company. If you do not want these in the yard we will provide updated pricing. In addition we will take photos and post them on our website/social media channels, the front of the house could be in these photos however no additional details will be used.
